Good afternoon!
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had a good week and are looking forward to a relaxing weekend.
Today, I am going to be doing the TBR Tag, something I saw on Time Traveling Reader. I have a VERY long TBR right now. It is a very high number on Goodreads, and that is after going through and removing some…
So, I figured this tag will allow me to further consolidate which books I really want to read, and which ones I can get rid of.
Clicking on the title of each book will bring you to book depository. This is an affiliate link, meaning that I will make a small commission on every purchase made through this link, with no impact on you. Thank you!
How do you keep track of your TBR?
Goodreads! This is especially helpful because I have a lot of books that I don’t own but still want to read, so I keep track of them there. I also have a specific shelf that I keep my high priority physical TBR, so I can easily access them when I am ready for another book.
Is your TBR mostly print or e-books?
Print. I usually only read ARCs in the electronic platform. However, I did get a kindle a couple of months ago so this is changing a bit.
How do you decide which book from your TBR to read next?
I am a MOOD READER! I have tried setting which books I will read next and it never works out. So usually, when I finish a book, I will walk up to my shelf and see which one sparks my fancy. I will also prioritize ARC copies that I need to finish.
A book that has been on your TBR the longest.
A book that you recently added to your TBR.
I am so intrigued by the premise of this book, and I have heard so many good things about it!
A book on your TBR strictly because it has a beautiful cover.
Okay, I definitely love the premise of this book because it sounds like something I will deeply connect to, being a dancer who started later in life. However, I am not afraid to say that I was absolutely attracted to this book because of the gorgeous cover. I mean look at it. How could I not resist?
A book on your TBR that you never actually plan on reading.
I am confused. Isn’t the point of a TBR is to be a list of books I want to read? Plus, I just went through my TBR list and got rid of some so… I don’t have an answer to this question.
An unpublished book on your TBR that you are excited for.
Have you heard me talk about this book enough yet? What can I say? I am attracted to ALL the WORDS! SO MANY WORDS! Also… dragons!
A book on your TBR that everyone else has read but you.
A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you.
A book on your TBR that you are DYING to read.
The number of books on your TBR.
258…
I tag…
Everyone who has a TBR! Go crazy!
Talk to me!
What is your most anticipated read of 2019?
Do we have any similar books on your TBR?
What has been your favorite recent read?
Let me know in the comments below!
Love,
Jackie
All the Bright Places is on my list too, so you’re not the only one who hasn’t read it yet.
I like to keep track on Goodreads and mood read as well. Set TBRs are too hard for me to stick to.
Hopefully I will get to ATBP soon! I hope we enjoy it as much as others have!
I am also terrbile at following a set TBR. I fail so bad haha!
I love this tag! Great post!
Thank you so much!
This is a fun tag!
I’m not the biggest fan of Red Rising, but a lot of people seem to love it so I hope you’ll love it, too 🙂
This tag was a lot of fun to write!
I know there is a lot of books others love that I didn’t so I understand haha! Thank you!
I just posted my version of this tag! I definitely agree that Cantique has a beautiful cover! Great answers! 🙂
It definitely does! I am a little bit obsessed with it, to be honest haha! Thank you.
Mood reading is the only way to read! 👌🏻 I also haven’t read The Bone Season, I need to get on that hype!!
Haha me too! I just bought the first book from a thrift store, so I am excited to dive in.
Ooo brilliant!! I just borrowed the ebook from my library too!!
These are some great books, I hope you enjoy them when you eventually get to them.
Haha thank you! I hope it isn’t too long until I can read them. But my TBR is evergrowing haha.
I usually read more books than I add to my TBR and it still seems to grow.
Haha same!
Shoot I just added Cantique by Joanna Marsh just because of the cover lmao
Haha! I honestly can’t get over how pretty it is. It is curently on display on my book shelf. I’m obsessed. I hope the story is good as well!
I love this tag! Great post! I want to do this!
Thank you! Let me know if you do it. I would love to read your answers.
I love this tag!
I’m not sure what my most anticipated book this year is haha, but my most recent favourite is The Year After Your by Nina de Pass.
Red Rising has been on my TBR for years too haha.

Thank you! I have seen The Year After You around and I am definitely interested in it!
I think I put Red Rising on my Goodreads TBR shelf way back when I made my account haha! So it has been a long time lol!
Red Rising feels a little to me like one I should have read when it first went on my shelf instead of waiting for years haha.
Haha oh my goodness I definitely have books like that! Then I never get to them haha
Honestly! I have tried not being and I failed miserably ahaha!
Yay! I am so glad to here that. The Red Rising series honestly sounds so interesting to me. I can’t wait to read it.
I have never heard of To be Taught, If Fortunate. I will have to look it up!
Me too! I hope we both have time to read it soon! I still need to find myself a copy haha! I keep hoping I will find it at a used book store but I haven’t yet.
most anticipated is now probably priory, get to collectmy copy today.
Yay! I still have yet to get my hands on a copy. I haven’t had time to make it to a book store. I might order it online instead.
It does look so good! I am hoping to read it soon.
Great answers, I’m such a mood reader too!
