24 Book Recommendations to Read While Drinking 24 Different Teas

We are less than a week away from December! Winter is finally kicking in, the air is crisp, and I’m trading my iced coffee for something a little warmer. Recently, I have been reaching for a warm, cozy cup of tea during these chilly winter mornings. I have also been reading like crazy, and this got me thinking. What books pair well with tea? All books, of course! But I wanted to get a little more specific, so this post is filled with 24 book recommendations to read while drinking tea!

A couple weeks ago, I introduced the “24 Days of Tea” Advent calendar made by Adagio Teas! This advent calendar features 24 unique teas in either loose-leaf or tea bag options. To see more information about this tea advent calendar, click here!

I am so excited to get to start opening this calendar and enjoying some festive tea! But first I need to decide which book and tea pairings I’ll have this year! So, I decided to create this list of 24 book recommendations that pair with each tea offered in the calendar!

WARNING! This post is going to contain spoilers of all the teas in the loose-leaf version of the “24 Days of Tea” Advent Calendar. This is by far one of my favorite books! This story follows two magicians whose lives become intertwined in ways that can’t be untangled. And I promise, there are plenty of tasty chocolate treats described in this book, perfect to read while drinking some bourbon chocolate ball tea.

Candy Cane

The flavors in the candy cane tea immediately remind me of drinking peppermint hot cocoa in a bookshop. I know I want to be reading Love in Winter Wonderland while drinking this tea!

Come on, we all know how much I love reading books about books! This YA romance follows Trey and Ariel as they try to save the Wonderland bookstore from being shut down because of gentrification. Sweet and fresh, this is the perfect book to read while drinking candy cane tea!

However, they get a lot more out of switching than they were expecting. I haven’t read this book yet, but I’m sure they bake gingerbread at some point! At least I hope they do!

Honeybush Blueberry Pancake

The rosehips in this tea, along with the fruity warmth of the other flavors make me want to read a retelling of a classic story like Rosewood: A Midsummer Meet Cute.

We all know the story, the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future visit Ebenezer Scrooge to try to get him in the Christmas spirit and lead with kindness. However, this story is a historical fiction imagining of Charles Dickens writing this story! Gives the classis holiday spirit a twist!


I definitely can’t read all of the 24 book recommendations on this list, but I am certainly going to try to read as many as I can! There are way too many good books on this list, I can’t wait to sip on some tea and read some good books!
