How to Decorate your Bookshelves for Fall

I know by now, we are all feeling the fall vibes, despite it being in the 80s where I live. I think I have said it enough on my blog, is it getting annoying? Anyway, a couple weeks ago I was decorating like mad, and of course, in that tornado, I decorated my bookshelves for the autumn and Halloween season.

I figured I would share my decorations with you! So, let’s get inspired, and spook up these beautiful books!

I found these adorable jack-o-lantern lights at Target last year for 8 dollars, and I knew I had to have them. They wrap perfectly around my bookshelves and give them a spooky twist. They look even better turned on! It doesn’t look like Target is selling these ones anymore, but they have many similar ones, which might even be cuter than mine.

Pumpkins!

Okay, if you know anything about me you know how much I love pumpkins. They are, by far, the superior gourd. Of course, this was another Target find. And the best part? Target sells these little pumpkins in so many different styles, you are bound to find one that matches your aesthetic. I bought these from Target for 6 dollars, but I am kind of digging all the different variations they release every year! These are such an adorable and easy option to decorate your bookshelves for fall!

Candles!

One of my favorite things to do during this time of year is visiting Bath and Body Works or T. J. Max and smell ALL of the autumn candles. And I mean all of them. So of course, during the fall season, I have to include as many divine smelling candles as possible on my bookshelves. And… I have a lot. Also, don’t forget about the adorable candle holders that Bath and Body Works sells! Another place I like to look for candles is the dollar section of Target. I always find the cutest themed candles. Last year I bought a candle that looks like a tiny cauldron. Another year, I bought one that looked like a pumpkin.

Of course, I had to add some cheese to my bookshelves, and what better than some dollar store Halloween decorations to do that! These are so adorable and cheesy. They add a little Halloween sparkle to my bookshelves. I mean, look at their adorable little spooky faces!

This is one of my favorite things to do every year, and I feel like it gets better and better each year. Honestly, I am getting excited about decorating for Christmas already! I am pulling together ideas!

Do you guys decorate your bookshelves for fall? Tell me how in the comments!

Love, Jackie
