My Perfect Bookish Fall Day

Blogoween Day 9

This is another post coming at you a little late. Hopefully, I will be all caught up by the end of today! Today’s host is Camilla from Reader in the Attic. Click the link to see some spooky twists on your favorite stories. They are awesome and so fun to read!

Basically, today I am going to describe my perfect day as 99.7% introverted.

I sleep in until 11, waking to a cloudy day and my two dogs cuddled next to me. After eating brunch and enjoying a mug of hot coffee, I turn on Netflix and start carving my pumpkin. I search for bookish pumpkin designs, choosing to carve the Mockingjay symbol into my pumpkin. As soon as I finish my pumpkin, it begins to pour outside.

Later, I move to my bed, where I light my apple cinnamon scented candle and settle down with a good fantasy book, immersing myself into the world and characters.

Fall TBR

Before I know it, it is already dinner time. I had chicken tortilla soup in the crock pot all day so I decide to eat some while watching another episode of Netflix.

Fall TBW (To Be Watched [or rewatched])

  • Charmed
  • Stranger Things
  • Supernatural

After dinner, I pour myself a glass of iced pumpkin-spiced coffee and grab some Halloween candy and return to my book and fall into the world until it is already late and I had hardly noticed the time pass. Finally, I sink into my comforter and end the night with a Halloween movie.

Fall Movies

  • Halloween Town
  • Twitches
  • Hocus Pocus
  • Casper the Friendly Ghost

I don’t know about you, but now, all I want to do is skip all my responsibilities for the day and do exactly this. Who needs classes and work? How about we all just get together and read and watch Netflix all day. Sound good?

Talk to me!

What would your perfect fall day look like?

What books would you read?

Would you watch any TV or movies? What?

What would you eat? Drink?

Love,

Jackie
