I might be a little excited for next year. What can I say, I am ready for a new start. I am ready for a new TBR, new goals, and new books! A fresh start is all I need to fix all my problems, isn’t that how it works? Anyway, today I am excited to be talking about the February 2022 book releases.
There is always a little bit of a letdown after the holidays and the new year. First, there is fall, with pumpkin spiced lattés and spooky horror stories. Then you have the holidays, with cozy hot cocoa and joyful stories of hope. And of course, the new year, with excited anticipation of new beginnings and goal setting. But after that, when February hits, there is a definite lull.
In that lull, I like to focus on something good, or I will start to think too much. Wouldn’t want that! So I like to anticipate all the incredible books that are coming out that month! the February 2022 book releases are jam-packed with exciting stories of romance, adventure, and magic!
This list is going to include the February 2022 book releases that I am most anticipating, but there are a lot more out there!

With the first book in a new series, Tahereh Mafi, the author of The Shatter Me series is back. This book is supposed to be an epic tale full of romance, magic, and Persian mythology. The hype for this new series is unreal!
The premise of This Woven Kingdom follows Alizeh, who has been posing as a servant girl instead of the heir to the throne that she is. When Kamran, the prince, meets Alizeh, he never would have guessed that she is going to overthrow his family and change everything.
This sounds like such a great fantasy novel. I have never read anything from Mafi, but if it is anything like their other books, it is sure to be well-loved.

Ignoring the absolutely stunning book cover, which is hard to ignore, I have been anticipating this book for so long! Ever since Racquel Marie announced that it was being published on Twitter. When I say I have been waiting forever, that is an understatement!
Ophelia thinks she knows exactly who she is. All she wants to do is have the perfect high school experience with her best friends and her beautiful rose garden. That is until she meets Talia, and her thoughts about herself and her sexuality start to spiral.
I think this is the only YA contemporary I have ever been excited to read. It just isn’t my favorite genre, but reading the premise of this story, I know I am going to fall in love with Ophelia. She is the type of character that is going to grab on to me and stick around for a while, I can tell.

With Only a Monster by Vanessa Len having so many positive reviews already, I am so excited to read this one. Also, just look at the book cover! How pleasing is that to look at!

However, she soon finds out that her weird family members are actually monsters. Oh, and that cute coworker? He is a monster hunter!
This reminds me so much of all the teen paranormal drama television shows I love to watch so much, I know I am going to like this book!

There are so many good fantasies on this list of February 2022 book releases! I am going to be busy during the month, figuring out all the new worlds, magic systems, and characters. It takes me a little longer to get into fantasy than any other genre, but once I am in, I’m usually hooked.
And then I get a sprinkle of romance in there to celebrate Valentine’s day! February is going to be a good month for YA book releases!
