Hello Everyone!
I was tagged by The Bibliophagist and Book Hooked Nook to do the Three Bookish Things Tag. Please go check out both of their blogs for lovely bookish content.
I don’t have much else to say so let’s get into the tag.

Three Unpopular Bookish Opinions
I did not like the first book in The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare and I am not rushing to continue on with the series.
I am not a big fan of the contemporary genre.
I like a lot of tropes, especially the enemies to lovers one.
Three Current Favorite Book Covers
The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
The Traitor’s Kiss by Erin Beaty
Seafire by Natalie C. Parker
Three Goals for the Year
Write!
I have already been quite successful with this so far but I don’t want to let the momentum die. I want to revise the book I am currently working on and start my next idea, which I am really excited about! I also want to write a lot more blog posts.
Read!
I am so behind on my Goodreads challenge for 2018. I want to spend the rest of the year reading as much as I can so I can actually complete my challenge, unlike last year… I also want to read more books that I actually enjoy and want to read, not books I need to read.
Figure my life out!
As I have mentioned, like 200 times, this is my last year of college so I need to spend some time figuring out what I am going to do after I finish school. Wish me luck!
Anyone who would like to complete this tag, you are tagged!
Talk to me!
What are some of your unpopular opinions?
What are your goals for the rest of the year?
What is your favorite book cover?
Let me know!
Love,
Jackie
I rewatched it the other day. I knew what to expect and yet I was bawling!
I love that cover for The Traitor’s Kiss!!
It is so gorgeous! And the second one matches so well in color! I just. I love it.
I’m the exact opposite with Bridge to Terabithia! I read the book when I was younger and was so upset and heartbroken that still years later I refuse to watch the movie. And I also love enemies-to-lovers! Also, Finnick Odair is life.
Finnick is just such a peanut. He deserved so much better 😪 I wish I had read the book when I was little. Now I feel like I wouldn’t enjoy it. But it makes sense that you won’t watch the movie. Soooo many emotions!
You’ve got some great answers here! I especially agree with Laini Taylor and Leigh Bardugo! Also Cath from Fangirl <3
I hope you manage to sort out your three goals for the rest of the year 🙂
Thank you! They are just such easy authors to love! They tell stories really well!
And thank you! I will be working hard at them.
Totally agree with your unpopular opinions! I also love tropes and contemporary bores me 🙈
Yes! I just don’t get attached to the characters like I do in fantasy, etc.
Aww yes I love Finnick in the Hunger Games too! ❤️❤️ I love the enemies to friends trope too! Also if you like tropes, you should give To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (it has the love triangle and other tropes as well) even though it’s a contemporary. Ahh my favourite genre is contemporary, but that’s okay because we all have different reading tastes! What’s your favourite genre?
I have that book on my bookshelf right now. I have been meaning to read it for a couple years now. I want to read it and then watch the Netflix movie.
I think my favorite genre has to be fantasy. I love the world building and I connect to the characters a lot more.
I love tropes! They let me have an idea of what I’m getting into which is lovely when I’m in the mood for a certain type of books, and I love seeing them executed well and in different ways. Instalove doesn’t bother me at all like it does for other people.
Some authors just execute them so well. And I am also a mood reader so it helps tremendously with that!
this looks like such a fun tag!
It is!
This is such a cool tag, I love your answers!
Thank you so much! It was a fun post to write
