As the weather drops, my love for dark academia ri As the weather drops, my love for dark academia rises. There is something about the fall and winter weather that makes me want to read about windy college campuses and dramatic characters. 📚 Two of my favorite books are Ninth House and The Starless Sea. The writing and characters in these two series are amazing and enchanting. Definitely recommend! 📚 My family decorated the Christmas tree today! As excited as I am for the holiday season, I will As excited as I am for the holiday season, I will say… I do love my pumpkin scented candles. I used to hate gourmand scents, but my palette has changed. I will burn my pumpkin pecan waffle candles any day! 📚 I read The Poppy War a couple of months ago and I get it. I understand why this book was so hyped up. I was completely drawn in by the characters and story, Kuang did an incredible job with this debut. I have been reading Caul Baby by Morgan Jerkins th I have been reading Caul Baby by Morgan Jerkins this month with Literati and I am loving it. It is unlike the books I usually read. The magical realism is so well written, and the mood is so tense I can’t put this book down. 💫 Literati sent me over their book club subscription box for free for review, and you can read all about it on my blog (link in my bio). This is honestly one of the most beautiful books I own, I was already planning to buy it before I even read the plot. Then I learned it was about a dancer who started late in life and I died.
