The Fall Bucket List Book Tag

I always put so much on my fall bucket list. I want to read so many spooky books, watch all the thriller movies, and eat copious amounts of pumpkin-spiced foods. But this week, the weather has risen as high as 96 degrees, and I am not feeling like doing any of the fall things. It should not be this hot! So, I am using this book tag to remind myself of all the fun fall things I should be doing this time of year, instead of being cranky about the terrible weather.

I will also be using this tag to see what I should add to my fall bucket list!

Already done! I have been lighting fall scented candles like crazy lately, they are so nice!

Book Cover of Off the Page by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer

Off the Page by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer is such a fun and lighthearted read. Honestly, I had a blast reading this book. Who wouldn’t want to imagine a favorite fictional character actually coming out of the book? That is every bookworm’s dream, isn’t it?

I have absolutely been drinking as many pumpkin spiced lattés as possible!

Book cover of Crier's War by Nina Varela

This book is absolutely everywhere right now. I have seen so many people raving about it. Basically, it is taking all my strength not to buy it immediately. I am trying to stop myself from buying hyped book before more people have read them. That way, I can see more reviews before I decide whether I will enjoy the book or not.

I don’t know if I plan on going apple picking. I have only been once, and it was many years ago.

Book cover of Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand

This is my current read, and I am only halfway through, but I am loving the friendship that is developing between Zoe and Marion. I will also throw Greyson in there, because he is fantastic, and a bit of comic relief in this insanely creepy read. I look forward to where this book goes from here!

Well, if the weather would work with me, I would definitely be wearing a cozy sweater! Please, can we have some cold weather?

Book cover of A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer

A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer is a recent favorite of mine. The writing made me feel like I was right there with the characters. Like I was sitting by the fire in the Inn, playing card games with Gray and Harper. It sounds so nice and cozy, it warms my heart. Also, the fact that Emberfall was saved was nice! I can’t wait for the second book in this series, so I can spend more time with these lovely characters. You can read my review of this book here!

Oh, cinnamon rolls sound so good. I don’t usually bake them during the fall season, as I stick to pumpkin bread, but I might have to give it a go this year!

Book cover of Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

Yes, I am choosing Peeta for this question. Honestly, the main reason why Peeta is my favorite fictional boyfriend is that he can bake. All I want to do is taste his cakes. Can you imagine the beautiful food he would bake every week? And, they would definitely be decorated beautifully.

Unfortunately, where I am from, the trees don’t drop leaves. I have always wanted to experience a fall that was full of red, orange, and yellow colors, but alas! Maybe I will jump on a single dead leaf and pretend it is the same thing!

Book cover of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

If you have read this book, you know that it doesn’t exactly end on a high note. However, I was honestly jumping for joy at the fact that this book actually lived up to the hype! And of course, This book made me feel warm and happy!

Okay, I have a couple more things to add to my fall bucket list! Especially making cinnamon rolls, that honestly sounds like such a blast!

What is on your fall bucket list? Let me know in the comments below!

Love, Jackie
